By ordering from Ladyfingers Letterpress, you hereby agree to the following:
PROCESSING TIMES
We know! You fell in love with your honey, and our goods! You want to know when your paper goods will arrive! Here's the deal:
- For any item we print with your name or information: This includes Invitations, Save the Dates, Menu Covers, Envelopes with your return address printed on them, etc. After receiving your information, we put together your designs and email you a digital proof within 5 business days (that means Monday though Friday, no holidays dears). Once the design is approved for print, we fire up the press and finish the printing portion within 10 business days. The faster you approve your design, the faster your box from Ladyfingers Letterpress will arrive!
- For any item that does not require any personlization: This includes Day-Of Kits, Table Numbers, Thank You Cards etc. These puppies ship out within 10 business days of your order. I know. So darn fast!
APPROVING YOUR DESIGNS
Approve the Digital Proof
When the design is finalized, we
will send you a digital proof (in Adobe PDF format) which you must
approve before the job goes to press. There is one round of
complimentary changes to any text or content issues. If additional
revisions are needed, see the revisions section below.
Revisions
If
additional Adobe PDF proofs are need after the complimentary round of
revisions, there is a $75 per PDF proof fee. If changes are requested,
the PDF proof must be emailed and approved prior to the commencement of
printing.
Rush Jobs
These options are not always possible, but always ask if you're in a hurry. If our schedule has room, these are the options:
- Design Rush - Rush designs can be completed in 2 business days with a 50% surcharge.
- Print Rush - Rush jobs can be completed within 5 business days with a 50% surcharge.
You accept responsibility for proofing
Your
approval of the digital proof also confirms that Ladyfingers
Letterpress will not be liable for any typographical, spelling or design
errors. Changes after approval but prior to the press run will be
allowed for a Revision Fee.
About Hand-Lettering
We here at Ladyfingers Letterpress enjoy using the fine art of hand-lettering to make your invitations especially unique. Since hand-lettering is a product of the human hand, please be aware that there will be some variation in the style of the font. We cannot guarantee that your hand-lettering will perfectly match the sample pictured on our website letter-for-letter, but we can guarantee that the digital proof that we share with you will be the actual design on your final letterpressed invitations.
About Color Matching
Remember that the colors on your digital
proof may vary from the end product since the way color is perceived on
your screen is much different than the way ink looks on paper. We
suggest ordering a of sample of the item to have and to hold, and to see
the ink colors that we will be using on your job.

PAYMENT AND SHIPPING
Payment
All purchases made though the online shop will be processed though PayPal. You do not need a PayPal account to pay. You can use any Visa, Mastercard, American Express or Discover card for checkout.
Currency and Sales Tax
All prices are in U.S. dollars. We are located in Rhode Island, and will collect 7% sales tax on all items shipped or sold within the state. Sales tax is not collected on shipping expenses.
Checkout
Please be sure your current contact information is updated during the checkout process. If we need to contact you, the right email address will help us! Prefer a friendly phone call? Add your number too.
Ship-to Address
Help the ladies out! Please be sure to include your correct shipping address in the PayPal checkout process. Why? Well, we will only ship the address listed as the shipping address, this protects you and us (and it is the PayPal policy)!
Shipping
Ground shipping via Fedex will be included at the time of the purchase. Should the client wish to use another shipping method, please let us know at the time of design approval. The client will be contacted by email with additional shipping options, which must be payed in full before shipment. We can not be responsible for damage during shipping. If your job suffers damage in transit, you must file a claim against the carrier (UPS, USPS, Fed Ex, etc) to recover the value. We will try to reprint the order as quickly as possible as a service to you, but we will have to charge the full price for the replacement, including a new non-refundable payment. Customs, shipping and handling charges are in addition to imprinting costs. We insure the job for the amount paid to Ladyfingers Letterpress. For international orders, we place the total value of your order as the value of your package.
Shipping Insurance
We insure the all jobs for the amount paid to Ladyfingers Letterpress. For international orders, we place the total value of your order as the value of your package. Most orders will need to be signed for due to the value of the contents. Keep this in mind when providing the shipping address.
International Orders
We work with couples from all over the globe. For international orders, we place the total value of your order as the value of your package. Customs, shipping and handling charges are in addition to imprinting costs. We can provide an estimated “landing cost” the taxes, fees and customs charges are determined by each county. Ladyfingers Letterpress is not responsible for any delays caused by shipping or importing.
GUARANTEES AND CANCELLATION
Limited Guarantee
We want you to be in love with your invitations! If there are flaws due to our workmanship or our mistake we will either reprint the flawed portion of the job at our expense or refund a the flawed portion of the project, which will relieve us of further obligation, on your return of the flawed work. However, note that Letterpress printing is a largely manual process and is therefore subject to natural variation of color, impression, registration and other characteristics, and we do not allow claims for concerns of this nature. No claims accepted after 14 days from delivery.
Cancellation by Us for any reason
We can not be responsible for unforeseen circumstances, work-stoppages, 'acts-of-God' or whomever, which may make it impossible for us to complete your job in a reasonable amount of time. Our complete obligation to you may be discharged in its entirety by our refund of your deposit, without prejudice, and disclaiming any secondary consequences or costs that you may incur.
Cancellation by You for any reason
If you decide to cancel the job prior to any part of it going to press, you agree to forfeit your half of your payment. Cancellations after the job has gone to press will not be accepted. You cannot cancel any part of your job once the order has been placed. Any quantities lowered or items cancelled are at the sole discretion of Ladyfingers Letterpress and will constitute forfeiture of that portion of the deposit.
Copyright
All copyright is wholly owned and reserved by Ladyfingers Letterpress. All designs are exclusive and original to Ladyfingers Letterpress and are protected by copyright law. It is an offense to steal in whole or in part any of the designs, calligraphy, layout, or illustrations created by Ladyfingers Letterpress.
It is illegal to reproduce any design, layout or illustration without express permission from Ladyfingers Letterpress. Modification and/or reuse of stationery for other occasions/uses is prohibited. Ladyfingers Letterpress holds ownership and copyright on all designs.
You agree that Ladyfingers Letterpress reserves the right to document and advertise the work we have generated for you. This includes presenting the finished designs on our website, or advertising through social media websites.
Nothing stated on the website shall be considered a binding agreement on us
We are not obligated to accept any job, and our refund of your payment at our discretion will release us from any further obligation to you whatsoever. We reserve the right to correct typographic and other errors.
